A number of different suggestions.
Here's some stuff that I think was partly suggested on a whim, but I want to make an official post. Ride Pager Whilst it was initially just a placeholder item, I feel that the ride pager as an item would provide massive benefit to farmers of maps, as well as employ different ways to access areas in the future. It would be nice to be able to slot a dedicated pokemon in a specific slot (that requires a specific type), which would then avoid the need to switch to a water type and re-enter a map to cross a stream. Whilst it might seem like a really over-the-top idea just to stop the break in mapping to surf, it could be employed into various things like in Sun/Moon, such as boulder moving (or even just traversing difficult terrain), and other things. Ore Infusion This is probably a dumb idea, but I see that Radioactive ores had no purpose at the moment other than for pokemon in the shop, or for XP. I think it would be really nice to be able to infuse Radioactive bars into a chosen pickaxe to provide a 'temporary' buff for a certain number of mines. Perhaps different radioactive ores provide different bonuses. The first could just be a bonus to XP (something small to begin with!), to bonus to ores, to bonus drop chance of gems or fossils at higher radioactive ore tiers. I'm not sure what the ratio would be, but 30 bars for 100 mines seems appropriate. Clan Buildings Muh woodcutting Okay, actually hear me out: Clans pool together a whole ton of rescources for ore boosts, extra trainer XP, and more. Whilst this is great, what about a greater goal, something to really expand clans and provide more benefit for those that TRULY put the effort in? I think it would be pretty dank for clan leaders and moderators to be able to create buildings for their clan. At first it could just be a merchant's market, which might provide clan-specific markets for ores and other pokemon they have in their vault, on sale to the public, or might even provide a passive money boost. It could, maybe, even go as far as to have Miner's Huts that reduce the time for each set of mines by a specific percentage. Market PMs Just something QoL. I would love to see PMs for when market listings are sold, or for when listings are made towards you as well, so you're notified. Map Legendaries HEAR ME OUT PLEASE ;_; I have a reasonably okay idea for this. Badges have no use at the moment, right? So what if obtaining the badges for a specific region gave a small, small chance (1/40000 or something) for a legendary to appear in a specific map? ;w; Minigame: PokéSudoku Similar to Sudoku, but with 3 difficulty levels: 2x2 squares, 2x3 squares, 3x3 squares, and 4x4 squares. The numbers would basically be replaced with dex pokemon (maybe starters or something), and you fill it in and get points for each correct puzzle, and then a bonus for getting them all right. If you get 1 wrong you have to start over, but still get points for the ones you got correct. This would give those puzzle fans something to do. :3 Let me know what ya think. yikes, wall. Ride Pager: I'm completely on board with that. However, I remember b0sh saying before that he would have to mess with the map code a lot to allow for anything involving faster movement (running was the main idea before but that was pre S/M release) Ore Infusion: Although radioactive ores have a select few uses, the same argument could be said about every ore in the game. Shops, fossil restore, exp, team tasks. Maybe this infusion idea could be applied to Unobtainium, because (as the name would imply) it's supposedly really difficult to obtain. Clan Buildings: I'm not sure about this one. If the 'merchant markets' you're talking about are NPCs, wouldn't the inventory have to be the same for each clan? Not doing so would cause a lot of issues i'd imagine. If you meant like having a Trainer's Square type of deal, well.. Trainer's Square lol. A passive money boost would have to be really small, like how the higher team ranks give +1% chance of getting an extra dollar at the end of a battle. The lower mining times would just be overpowered imo Market PMs: yes. I suggested this about Boards notifications as well a while back, this would be nice to have. Both of these could have a toggle in Options, so the people that mass-sell don't get flooded with PMs. Map Legendaries: Minigame: PokéSudoku: I think everyone that isn't fond of math would hate this. There is an idea for a new minigame in the woodworks right now though, it's just a matter of getting b0sh to work on it :P 7

For the ride pager, making it wouldn't be running, but specific types to cross specific terrain? Like surfing but for different tiles. Would just make exploring more diverse, maybe! Makes sense for infusion. you're right when you say that you could arguably say that most ores don't have a use, but at least other ores are used in making furnaces, whilst the radioactive ores arne't. For market, yeah, my suggestion was pretty similar to the trainer's market. It depends on how the miner timer would be: 1 less second for someone who has to wait 60 seconds isnt massively OP anyway, and it depends on the cap. Pokésudoku isn't very much of a math game, but I see what you mean. Good to know that somthing's saround the corner! If your ID is over #5000 then I'm legally allowed to not talk to you.

Ah, yeah. I don't have any gen 7 tiles, so the types of terrain used by the ride pager wouldn't be available. I suppose they could be replaced with some of the tiles I have, but meh. The idea behind it just seems like it might be a bit confusing for newer players. Some of the higher-up furnaces do require radioactive bars; the point of not having them be used early on is because there will likely be players that don't buy radiators and level up without the use of them. It would be kinda messed up to require them to either buy the ores or buy radiators so they can progress with smelting, as the furnaces make a huge difference compared to accessing different mines imo The whole mining cooldown thing would need a lot of nit picking to make it work properly. I can already see early stages of it working (or rather, not working) where people set their mines to 1 time and have no cooldown, thus allowing them to spam it. Well, although the numbers would be replaced with pokemon, you still have to think about the puzzle the same way as you would with numbers. Personally I like sudoku but I don't think it's something for everybody. Then again.. the captcha minigame is an evil creation in itself 7

That would ruin the current economy, this isn't meant to be a generic Pokemon RPG where legendaries are on maps and have no value. |
