How To Pokédex challenge!
The Pokédex challenge How to win? You don't, you just get a little better every time. Anyway, I'm going to try to help you get better with this guide. I will also try to help you optimise this training method with some tips I've worked out along the way What is the Pokédex challenge? You will face all 1025 Pokemon in a row until you defeat them, once you've managed that you will face them again but this time they'll be Shiny, then Soulless, then Forest, then Cloud, then Cosmic and finally Spirit At each new colour stage the levels will increase by 10% of your highest Pokemon's level. If you manage to defeat all 7 colours you'll encounter more Spirits who's levels will increase by 10 per Pokemon, until you meet your inevitable defeat Why should you do this? The exp gains get better the higher level you are, so the real question is when is this worth doing. The easy answer is at level 2000 or higher without getting into too many variables, which I'll try to do later. Lets start with the basic set up & then I will tell you how to optimise the strategy later Main Pokemon Your main fighting Pokemon could be anything you like (within reason), this is usually the one you want to level up. Think legendary, pseudo legendary. Something that will be able to take down over 7000 Pokemon in a row The rest of the party I recommend 5x Ghost types (Easily found on the maps) These will allow you the chance to revive your main battler if it is defeated. Moves Lets arrange your moves. On your main battler I recommend Spore, Oblivion Wing & Acupressure. On your ghost types I recommend Spore, Minimize & Destiny Bond. Items Pick up some revives from the Corvus Dept Store & some full heals too. Beating the Pokédex challenge Start with Spore & buffing your main Pokemon's stats with acupressure until maxed. Then switch out to your ghost types & max their evasion with minimize, once complete you can go back to your main battler and use oblivion wing. This alone should get you to 7175 with maybe a few casualties. At this point when you reach the extra spirits you want to use spore before you attack to get further Congratulations! You've beaten the challenge... but I think you can do better. To be continued Goals
