No news since April, ouch. For anyone not in the loop, TPK Red development has picked up some steam again over the past couple of weeks! We started a thread for the #tpk-red channel in our Discord to start communicating our plans and have a place for community feedback/ideas to help make the new version as enjoyable as possible. If you would like to participate in the discussion, be sure to get the TPK Updates role in the #info-and-roles channel to view the channel and thread.

As a reminder, the release of TPK Red will not reset or remove TPK Blue. This will be a separate version that exists alongside Blue with the goal of wiping the slate clean for players seeking a new experience. There is currently no estimated release date, but we will definitely announce ahead of time when we plan to begin beta testing.

If you are unable to use Discord, here's the post regarding our upcoming plans for TPK red:
--------------
Following up on my previous post, here's our finalized list of major changes to the new version. We won't guarantee that everything in this list will be completed, but these are the big changes we want to make. There are many unlisted smaller changes that will be made alongside these.

Battles
- All abilities implemented (hidden abilities included!)
- Most held items implemented
- Level formula reverted to what TPK Green used (EXP = Level^3)
- New EXP yield formula that rewards EXP based on a Pokémon's overall bulkiness (Blissey has low defense so it will not be the best ^_~)
- Damage formula changed to be similar to the canon games
- Pokémon movesets are now restricted to moves that they learn canonically. Detailed information will be on the Pokédex page
- New Battle Frontier facility
- New Pokédex Challenge variant

Maps
- Map engine improvements (mostly for performance)
- New maps / quests
- New map-related skill (secret for now)
- Fishing skill removed. Fishing now contributes towards your Map Level
- Return of live maps (hopefully)
- All map encounter tables updated. This rebalance will ensure that ALL normal Pokémon (excluding some legendaries and a few other misc. Pokémon) are permanently obtainable

Team HQ
- Revamped into a new system, creating another new skill! (secret for now)
- No more split teams, everyone has the same shops now

Secret Dungeon
- Now uses the map engine for generation. This should improve performance and give us the ability to more easily create new content
- New Dungeoneering skill to reflect your efforts in SD

Mining
- Our current ideas are not set in stone, but we want to address some of the shortcomings that mining brought along over time

As mentioned in the previous post, feel free to give feedback/suggestions! We are primarily interested in trying to improve (or remove) parts of the game that feel unrewarding or lack a general purpose.

We plan to give more information as progress continues, but for now have a TPK day! ~Altios
