For Easter this year, we are doing a site wide 1.5x Boost all day! We're also launching another Spellathon contest which will last for the next week!

What do these words have in common? It shouldn't be hard to figure out that, they all are horribly misspelled. Unfortunately, TPK is known for having these misspellings all over the game, but its time to change that, with your help! Spellathon is about fixing minor issues in TPK, while themed around spelling errors, it can be really just about any minor detail with text or layout issues.

With the new launch of TPK Classic, the standards of TPK were a lot lower back then, and as such there's a ton of mistakes, and a bunch of features that aren't properly explained. Points are rewarded to people who point out mistakes that should be fixed, and to people who write better text to explain the mechanics of the game.

To enter, simply compile a list of errors and submit them to the Walden's World discord in the #spellathon-2020 channel. I will award points to the first person to point out the error, and react to your message when the fix is made. If there isn't an error, or your rewrite isn't any better than what is there originally, no points will be awarded. Please refrain from editing or deleting your messages.

While this spellathon is themed on TPK Classic, any part of TPK is fair game. From TPK Blue & Speedruns, to the F.A.Q. and extended rules, or to the various unclear error messages littered throughout the game, we welcome all improvements you got.

When:
Spellthon submissions will be accepted from April 12th, 2020 to April 18th, 2020.

Points:
Points are awarded for the first trainer to point out a mistake.

1: Spelling/Grammar mistake
1: Broken Image or invalid link (404)
1: Minor layout error such as missing table curve
3: Rewrite of a success/error message for clarity
5+: Rewriting text blurbs in game. Extra points awarded based off of quality of submission
20: Replace the text on the TPK home page. Be concise, but try to convey the depth and the appeal of the game.
If there are multiple entries, the selected entry wins 20 points, with other good attempts getting 10 points

Note that game bugs do not award points (but I would still love to hear about them)

Submitting:
Please join the Walden's World discord to submit. Post your submissions in the #spellathon-2020 channel. Please include your username and ID in your submissions, if your discord name does not reflect your TPK account. If you have been banned from the discord previously for any reason you may not be eligible to enter.

Prizes:
For earning at least 1 point, all players get their choice of $10,000 TPK Blue or $15,000,000 TPK Classic

All players get their choice of $3,000 TPK Blue or $1,500,000 TPK Classic per Spellathon point they earn. Top 3 may get something spellcial (currently not determined)
