[Poll] Current State of the TL13 Shop
Currently, the Trainer Level 13 shop has six Pokémon that are not set to leave. None have been bought until today, which marks just over two years of no activity. Relatively speaking, that would be a good year or so since the first person reached TL13. Obviously, we can make a change to the lineup whenever, but the real question lies: Given the extremely high cost of the Pokémon in the shop, and the work it takes to acquire not only the money but also reach TL13, should we rotate out the Pokémon (solidifying them as 1 in-games) as they are purchsed, or should we leave them and do a fixed shop rotation at some point in the future? I personally like both stances, but I would like to ask the community. What do you guys think? Let me know which scenario you would prefer, and give me some kind of explanation or reasoning behind your choice. Edit 1: To clarify, if we decide on the former idea with 1IGs, this does not mean that the Pokémon that don't get purchased for a while will stay forever. We will more than likely update the Pokémon in the shop regardless, but the pressing issue right now is deciding on whether or not Pokémon should be replaced when bought. Edit 2: Another idea that i'm open to expanding is to leave the 2.5mil Pokémon out of this debate, and instead only replacing the 5mil Pokémon when they are bought (if that idea is more popular) 7

RE: [Poll] Current State of the TL13 Shop
I like the idea of the Pokemon being 1 in games honestly. It brings more incentive to the table to be the first person to earn the Pokemon. Yeah you may have people that were working towards the goal that may miss out but the point of such high tier Pokemon is for them to be valuable. If you're not willing to put forth as much effort into playing the game to claim the Pokemon first than the person that does it's your own fault. At this point in the game Only one has been claimed anyways so people aren't as interested in it as they should have been if they wanted it. The Pokemon should be your number one priority if you want it that badly. Not to get it when the time's convenient for it. The shop used to be called Champion Shop for a reason. ;^) ♡

RE: [Poll] Current State of the TL13 Shop
To me i think its better if we leave theam and do a fixed shop rotation, since like you said they cost allot and it takes time and hard work to get to that point and it really makes it a little bit unfair for the other players that have been working hard to try to get them, just to be taken away by someone else. For another idea though for a 1ig shop though could be when some one reaches trainer level 14, just like when you entered the tl 13 shop but theres only one poke and its set to an more observe price, and its could not even be a legendary at all, but its still worth while to get, like say a forest swinub for 2.5m for a non legendary or something Heracross sprite was made by Nerdyvulpix:)

Why not add a "Pokemon remaining:" and have the 5mils be 1ig and the 2.5mils be a 2-3 ig Edit signature..

I think should rotate at end of year for all poke that have been purchased... if you work hard enough a year should be all you need.... ones that are still 0ig should not be rotated Just about everything FT/FS

RE: [Poll] Current State of the TL13 Shop
I agree with flatter. I don't entirely like the idea of there being only 1 in game. But it'd make sense. The pokemon are so expensive that it'd justifiable. At a 2.5m-5m price, that's roughly ~1m-2m battles. Which is a lot of work. It would be something you had to work hard for. So it would only be fair for you to get the only one. However that would also be one of the pros to putting it on rotation. Since it takes so long to obtain you would have an X month time frame to work your way up if you want that pokemon in the shop. A one month time frame would mean you'd have to do ~100k battles per day for 1-3 week. Which means its only obtainable to the hardcore players or people who would really want it. But this would mean someone could actually save up a stupid amount of money and get two possibly op pokemon. Say two cloud rayquaza's or something of that sort. It could break other economies such as bp because of how efficient that pokemon would be. Overall because of the high price I do believe the one in game option would be best. A counter argument to one in game would be that you could be saving up for something and someone comes and snatches it before you. That just means the other person was more determined to get that pokemon. It's not like the person who lost the opportunity loses their money. They'll still have that money saved up to just purchase the next one they desire. Yuh

RE: [Poll] Current State of the TL13 Shop
I agree with the incentive/interest claim. Especially regarding the time that has passed until now where no Pokémon, if there was great enough desire to get the Pokémon, it would have been done by now. I understand that 5mil is a ridiculous amount of money, but it's doable. Yes, I made a trade that gave me 90% of that money, but it had to come from somewhere. Nova made quite a fortune by making trades and selling off a good bulk of ores.
I can understand that the people who miss out would feel that it might be a bit unfair for them, but realistically all of these Pokémon could have been bought already. There is enough money circulating around in the game, and while it isn't sitting on a single person, it can be gathered through trading as well as just straight up earning it for yourself. In regards to the TL14 shop thing, I like it but ultimately it would not be realistic. If a shop were to be made, it would have to 1-up the TL13 shop, which already has prices that people have yet to pay (until today). Let's say that the minimum cost for a Pokémon in there is 20mil. I don't believe there is a combined 20mil in-game right now, but if you keep the prices equal to TL13 shop, it doesn't carry that same feeling of "prestige" for having it unlocked. On top of this, I am currently the only TL14 player, and while I am not discrediting anyone's potential to get to TL14, it will be quite some time until someone else does it.
I was thinking about this earlier when I made the post, but I only just now put that in one of my edits. Good suggestion.
We can have set rotations, but the question at hand is whether or not we should set the precedent of having guaranteed 1IGs. A year is plenty of time to build up a lump sum of money to purchase something from the shop, yet nobody has bought anything until today. 7

RE: [Poll] Current State of the TL13 Shop
I like the ideas of them only being 1 IG, if I payed 2.5m for something, and so did 2 other people it would seem like another 1m rare if that makes sense. Dunno I havent been playing as long, but I dont see anything rating 2.5m+. (Exceptions to high lvled rares). [SBCH] Psyduck won on April 11, 2019, 12:28 pm for the 25th time.

RE: [Poll] Current State of the TL13 Shop
Alright.. since discussion has reached a grinding halt, the thread has been locked. I see one or two people that would like a fixed rotation but the rest of the posts favor the 1IGs idea. To keep the best of both worlds (somewhat), I will be going with the idea I put in my second edit. 7
