Improving Smelting
i think a good feature to improve the smelting experience would be to add the option that at a certain smelting level, let's say lvl 100 for example, this will unlock the ability to purchase (for a certain amount of money/ores and such) the feature which will partially automate smelting. Like, you pick an ore and it will auto-refill from your reserves of said ore. So, you would still have to mine for it, but I feel it would be a very handy feature especially since smelting can take so long that being able to go to sleep and wake up with a large amount done would be super nice. |

The whole point about smelting is the micro managing process. Nothing about TPK is really an idle game. To get anywhere you need a lot of active participation. Granted, smelting and mining do have time gates where it does take a fixed amount of time to do. But in theory its actually possibile for dedicated players to catch up if they strategize properly and put in enough effort. Even at the cost of money or something automating that process would basically take that aspect away from the game. It'd basically be just watching numbers change over time, without any thought put into it. |
